The voices of women whose husbands were injured in the "Swords of Iron" war
About the Project
"Alumot Krav" is a documentary podcast that gives voice to the wives of wounded soldiers from the Swords of Iron war. In each episode, a different woman shares her personal journey of supporting a partner through physical and emotional injury - while holding the family, the home, and herself together. The podcast brings forward stories that are often silenced, with honesty, depth, and compassion.
The Battle for Home – The Story of Marva and Noam Linik
English Subtitles

In this episode, Marva — Noam’s wife and mother of three — shares the dramatic story of her family's survival during the October 7th attack on Kibbutz Kfar Aza. As terrorists surround their home, Marva hears Noam being critically wounded by gunfire. Noam manages to evacuate himself to the hospital, leaving Marva alone with their sons — fighting to protect their home and their lives. Marva recounts the terrifying moments, the inner strength that emerged during crisis, and the physical and emotional journey that began on that fateful day. This is a powerful episode about courage, survival, and boundless love
How It All Began
My name is Roni Reffeld-Bluth, and I’m the creator of Alumot Krav – a documentary podcast born from a personal story that quickly became a space for many others. At the start of the war,
my husband Pitzi was severely injured in a firefight with terrorists on the Lebanon border. He was shot in the head and miraculously survived. That same attack claimed the lives of Lt. Col. Alim Abdallah, Sgt. Maj. Jawad Amar, and reservist Sgt. Maj. Gilad Molcho.
While Pitzi was going through complex rehab, I - unprepared - became his full-time caregiver. Visitors came to hear his story. I sat beside him, quietly. Only later did I realize:
behind every injury, there’s another story - of a family, of a partner, of a woman left to fight a different kind of war.
Between my reserve duty and the birth of our fourth child, I created Alumot Krav - to give space to those silent battles. The response has been overwhelming. There’s a real need - from the public, and especially from the women living this reality quietly, every day
Looking Ahead

Alumot Krav began as a podcast — but the vision goes far beyond audio. I'm working to expand this platform into a wider creative space that amplifies the voices of the wives of wounded soldiers in every possible way: through writing workshops, music, visual storytelling, and more.
The responses so far have made one thing clear - these voices are needed!
Not only by the women who live this reality in silence, but by society as a whole
Support the Mission
Alumot Krav is an independent initiative born out of a deep need to amplify the voices of the wives of wounded soldiers from the Swords of Iron war - voices that live among us, but are rarely heard.
To keep producing new episodes, expand our impact, and bring these stories to wider audiences -
your support is essential.
Every donation helps the next story be heard, the next voice be recognized, and the entire project grow
The Collaboration with NATAL

NATAL - the Israel Trauma and Resiliency Center, provides professional support to the podcast by contributing expert content, making critical information about PTSD accessible, and producing video segments that explain how combat injuries affect not only the soldier but also their loved ones and support system. This vital collaboration deepens understanding, offers practical tools, and connects the personal stories shared on the podcast with a broader network of professional care and support
